Advantage Computer Enterprises, Inc., (ACE) was founded in 1980 as Modern Banking Systems of Kansas. During the first years of its operations, the company exclusively serviced banks across Kansas, Oklahoma, and Missouri. The advent of the PC was the impetus to expand the technical support to PC's and networks. As our business expanded to support business and local government entities, the name was change to Advantage Computer Enterprises.
In the 1990's, Advantage Computer Enterprises acquired Jayhawk Software which provides software for utility to rural water districts and municipalities. This has since led to the development of a software division. The company presently supplies software for utility billing and municipal court record keeping. Today, Advantage Computer Enterprises provides support and service to banks, district courts, county governments, city governments, police departments, sheriffs’ departments, and other businesses. We also provide personal computer repair including virus removal and most other hardware and software issues.
Advantage Computer Enterprises currently has over twenty employees. Our staff includes 7 full time field technicians that have over 75 years combined technical experience. This long term employment and history has provided ACE with a large pool of knowledge and experience on which to draw. The technicians cooperate to distribute knowledge and skills within their group. Operating Systems supported include DOS, Windows, Linux, Unix, Novell, AIX, and OS400. Hardware support includes PC's, Servers, backup devices, routers, firewalls, wireless networks, and printers. Other technologies supported include VPN (Virtual Private Network), VOIP (Voice over IP), Video Conferencing, Security Camera systems, and Internet Data Storage. We are a Microsoft Certified Partner and have several A+ Certified Technicians.
